Your character will move in the elite circles of Victorian society. If you haven't been born into money, you'll be successful in your profession.

Money isn't going to be a problem, which is handy, as you'll be criss-crossing New Europa fighting the schemes of Bismarck and his terrifying Unseelie allies. Also there are Balls to attend, parties to go to, your diary for The Season to consider.

Sample suggestions for types of character you might wish to play include – Adventuress, Anarchist, Barrister, Calculation Engineer, Clergyman, Consulting Detective, Dashing Hussar,

Diplomat - “A pleasure, as always, Madame Gilles, your Dance Soiree is a delight. Is Monsieur Fasceau here?”

Explorer - “Eighty Days? My friends, we will do it in fifty!”

Gentleman Thief - “You will have a marvellous time, my lady. Lord Whittinghame's hunt weekends are renowned. Such a shame I am unable to attend...”

Gentleman/Woman

Inventor - "The dwarfs have made engines that create magick, I hear. At last, the time for my invention has come!"

Journalist

Nobleman/Woman - “Waltzes and parties in Vienna with our Habsburg relatives. We shall be gone for at least two months.”

Physician, Police Inspector

Rogue - “Clearly your husband doesn't care for you as I do. He is away again when you need him most these cold nights. Come, my dear, let us relax together...”

Scientist, Secret Agent, Soldier of Fortune, Steam Engineer, Writer.

At the moment, we'll be sticking with basic human roles. No Dwarves, Dragons or Faerie characters, nor Wizards, nor dastardly Evil Masterminds.

I'd quite like to have a married couple in the group, which will probably be mainly British, although there's room for a European. A French man or woman would tie in with the well trailed Parisian Ball in the pilot episode. Other nationalities considered. See me.

Strictly No Prussians. What do you think this is??
